Organizer
Gladys Valadez is an Organizer, focusing on the Immigrant and Eden Renters United campaigns. She is a lifelong Cherryland resident and obtained a bachelors of arts in sustainable, environmental design and a minor in city and regional planning from University of California, Berkeley.
Gladys is passionate about creating efficient and resilient systems and practices in our cities, environments and communities. She has previously supported the city of San Leandro and San Jose’s urban greening projects through the California Climate Action Core Fellowship. When Gladys isn’t at work you can find her caring for her desert tortoises.
