Junior Community Organizer
Sandra Hernández (she/her/ella) is a Junior Community Organizer with the Eden Renters United committee where she works with leaders, supports Mobile Homeowners Unite, and block activation work across renter communities and mobile home parks to pass strong tenant protections for all tenants in Eden.
Before joining My Eden Voice as a staff member, Sandra was an active and fearless MEV leader for two years. Sandra started her journey with the organization as a Hayward Captain, where she helped lead a cohort of door knockers that dispersed vital information to renters about their rights. Immediately after the Captains program ended, Sandra joined the MEV fellowship.
When Sandra isn’t at the office, you can find her doing one of her various hobbies. Whether it’s cooking, dancing, reading, crocheting or spending time talking with her dad.
